Red Hot Rhythms on Radio Cardiff

I'm back on the airwaves of Radio Cardiff with a new show called Red Hot Rhythms - here's what I played on Monday 6 June 2011:

Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup – I Want My Lovin'
John Berberian & the Rock East Ensemble – The Oud and the Fuzz
Whiskey River – Voodoo Chile
New Cool Collective – Flootie
Ska Cubano – Lupita
Eddie Palmieri – Lucumi (Joaquin "Joe" Claussell remix)
Billy Jenkins with the Blues Collective – Blues Zero Two
The Amigos – Tu Djaial
Justin Adams/Juldeh Camara – Halanam
The Urban Voodoo Machine - Go East
Grupo Lokito – Generique Lokito

Red Hot Rhythms will go out Mondays 7pm through the summer - a mix of funky jazz, blues, roots, world music, maybe a touch of rock'n'roll and more.Hear the show live on 98.7 FM or watch and listen live online at www.radiocardiff.org

You can also hear the latest show anytime online at www.djandyroberts.co.uk

On the occasions when I'm not around to do a live show, you'll hear one of my Jazz Connection specials or an edition of my bellydance show, A Night in Tunisia.

If you're a fan of contemporary jazz, stay tuned for Rhys Phillips every Monday night at 8.30pm on Radio Cardiff - thanks to everyone who has been supporting his show.
